- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required 2. Cases: Acute medicine including DM, renal issues, COPD, abdominal rule outs, cancer patients not receiving current chemo; no surgical patients 3. Certifications: BCLS and ACLS required; must obtain ACLS by compliance deadline 4. License: MO RN license (can submit without license) or compact license; IL license required in hand at submittal; compact must match permanent residence 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 36 or 48 hours per week; every other weekend required; no on-call; patient ratio 1:6 8. RTO: Maximum 7 days per 13-week contract; no RTO first week of assignment; no new RTO after submission; 7+ days requires manager approval 9. Returning Staff: 18 months with 3-month break in service required; permanent BJC/Saint Lukes employees must wait 1 year before returning as traveler 10. Travel/Local: No locals accepted; 75-mile radius requirement from facility 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Required for RNs, completed pre-start through WorkRamp; billable up to 16 hours at $20/hr; must start within 1 week of contract and complete 2 Fridays before start date 13.
