- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required for submission 2. Cases: Med/Surg care with elective back surgeries, trauma, prostate cancer, gallbladders, cellulitis 3. Certifications: BLS required 4. License: Active Virginia State or Compact RN license required; pending license accepted only if candidate holds single-state license from non-compact state 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required (hard stop requirement) 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 nights, 6:45p-7:15a; may work EOW or 6 weekend shifts per 6-week block; may work as charge and precept 8. RTO: All requests must be included with submission; must work 1 holiday per 13-week contract (2 holidays for winter assignments) 9. Returning Staff: Previous employees must be gone minimum one year before returning; after 365 days worked, cannot return despite separation period (effective July 1, 2025) 10. Travel/Local: Local candidates not accepted (100+ miles required); 50-99.9 miles may be considered for one assignment with no extension; under 50 miles may be considered at lower bill rate with no extension 11.
