Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 2 years required for submission 2. Cases: Med/Surg experience required; Neurological cases including CVA, Pre/Post Neuro Surgery, Spinal cord injuries, Traumatic Brain injury; Gastrointestinal cases including Colostomy care, Feeding tube care; Respiratory cases including Chest tubes, CPAP/BiPAP, Tracheostomy Management 3. Certifications: BLS and NIHSS required; must be AHA and Red Cross only - RQI cards not accepted; copies required at submission 4. License: Must have active IL license in hand at submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12s Nights (1800-0630); will work every other weekend; on-call not required; will float as needed 8. RTO: Auto-approve 5 or less days of non-holiday RTO; anything more requires facility approval; must work 2 out of 3 major holidays 9. Returning Staff: Previous Perm/PRN candidates must be separated for 12 months before applying as traveler 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted with no radius restrictions for this specialty 11. Background: Background check hits must be noted upon submission for approval prior to offer 12. Modules: Non-billable up to 16 hours; completed pre-start; first day is virtual at-home day; strict deadline of 4PM CST on Day 1 13. Travel Experience: Travel experience required; first-timers not accepted 14. Scrubs: Royal blue 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only 16.
