- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years of PCU experience required 2. Cases: Wide variety of diagnoses including renal, hepatology, cardiology, pulmonology; also specialize in adult cystic fibrosis patients 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS required 4. License: Valid compact or state license in hand at time of submission required 5. Education: Must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: Weekdays and some weekends, rotating holidays; patient ratios 1:3 days/nights/weekends; required to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity; weekend coverage required; 36 orientation hours 8. RTO: Required with submission, must be built into contract; two pre-approved time off 9. Returning Staff: Former employees eligible for travel assignment once away from facility for 6 months or more; current employees ineligible for traveler positions at any Ohio State University hospital location 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same rate; previous travel experience preferred 11. Background: Strict compliance deadline of Tuesday prior to start; urgent Ohio fingerprinting process required immediately after contract signing 12. Modules: Not specified 13.
