Requirements

- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years of med surg experience required; travelers must have stepdown/PCU experience as well as MS nurses will float to their PCU unit as needed 2. Cases: Stroke, Hyperglycemia, CP, AMS, Renal failure, Afib, Most medical diagnoses 3. Certifications: BCLS, NIHSS required; AHA only, specific requirements confirmed at job level 4. License: SC licensed required; valid state license required with submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Meditech experience preferred but not required for all positions except RRT; Meditech experience required for RRT 7. Shifts/Call: 3T nights, 1:5/1:6 ratios, weekdays, every other weekend, float, holidays as needed 8. RTO: RTO must be approved prior to assignment start; minimal to no RTO - if RTO is NOT on the submittal and NOT discussed in interview - it will NOT be approved; preferably no RTO in the first weeks of an assignment 9. Returning Staff: Must be gone 1 year and must have been in good standing at time of departure 10. Travel/Local: 50 mile radius restriction; locals not accepted 11. Background: Facility will not accept any license or background hits 12. Modules: Non-billable, average 8 hours; completed pre-start, any modules not completed pre-start may be completed during orientation; self-reported 13. Travel Experience: First time travelers accepted 14. Scrubs: Not mentioned 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions and Declinations Allowed 16. Special Equipment: Teleneuro cart Critical: High P/C ratios and lots of floating - candidates must be comfortable with floating within the hospital.
