- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2.5 years required; experience in specialty must be within last 12 months 2. Cases: Early inductions, antepartum, patients on continuous monitoring; Level III high risk facility 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP required; all must be in hand at submission; BLS cannot expire within 30 days of start date 4. License: Active NJ or Compact License required at submission; Nursys within 2 weeks of submittal date 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: EPIC charting experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: EOW/EOH required; patient ratios 2:1 days and nights; float required to HROB and within 5 hospitals 8. RTO: Due at time of submission; RTO after submission not accepted; no RTO within first week of start date; travelers with 4 days or less RTO prioritized 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: Local rate $5 less for those within 50 miles; block scheduling not allowed 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Dysrhythmia test required within 72 hours of signing on PC only; 2 attempts permitted; failure results in cancellation; modules are billable and completed during orientation 13. Travel Experience: First time traveler accepted 14. Scrubs: Provided by hospital 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required with medical/religious exemptions only 16.
