Requirements

- Active California RN license required before start
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required - HARD STOP; minimum 1 year required; experience in large hospital settings highly preferred 2. Cases: Labor, preterm labor, hypertension, multiples, pre-eclampsia/eclampsia, fetal anomalies, IUFD, pyleo, diabetes; very high-risk unit 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate required, AWHONN Advanced preferred; can accept NCC EFM Cert in place of Intermediate AWHONN; must be able to circulate 4. License: CA license must be in hand 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 Day, 19:00-07:30; weekends may exceed every other to accommodate unit needs; facility can call off once per pay period 8. RTO: All RTO at time of submittal; 7 days for Aya and client offer; must commit to working 3 of 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, NYE, NYD) 9. Returning Staff: Can return after 3 months; must disclose previous Providence facility work with locations and dates 10. Travel/Local: 50-mile radius rule; locals accepted at lower rate; NO FIRST TIME TRAVELERS - HARD STOP 11. Background: Must disclose license/background hits upfront at submission; no open license hits approved 12. Modules: Average 16 hours, non-billable; completed pre-start and annually; over 20 hours requires PM approval 13. Travel Experience: Required - no first time travelers allowed 14. Scrubs: RNs wear navy blue; L&D scrubs provided by facility 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown 16. Special Equipment: Can accept NCC EFM Cert in place of Intermediate AWHONN Critical: LA fire card within last 30 days required. Two references covering 1 year within last 3 years required. Must float between all facilities within state. Travel pairs not considered.
