- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years of labor and delivery experience minimum 2. Cases: Labor & Delivery cases 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Beginner, AWHONN Intermediate, FHM, NRP required; AWHONN Advanced, STABLE preferred 4. License: SC or Multi State/Compact RN license required; SC license prioritized 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12s nights, every other weekend, on-call required (2) 12-hour shifts in 6-week period 8. RTO: All RTO must be included at time of submission; approval based on facility needs; 7 days or less non-holiday RTO for auto offers 9. Returning Staff: Previous permanent staff must be separated from MUSC system for 1 year before returning as traveler 10. Travel/Local: 60-mile radius; locals accepted case-by-case at 10% less posted bill rate; non-locals prioritized 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Non-billable, average 4 hours, completed pre-start, included in NBO hours 13. Travel Experience: First-time travelers accepted 14. Scrubs: Navy surgical scrubs provided 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only 16. Special Equipment: Omnicell medication system, Epic charting Critical: Hurricane season emergency response team assignment possible June-November.
