- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years minimum required 2. Cases: Must have OB, Mother/Baby and L&D experience 3. Certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NRP, AWHONN Intermediate and/or NCC C-EFM required; AWHONN Advanced preferred 4. License: Valid Michigan license required 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: EPIC experience required 7. Shifts/Call: Every other weekend required; will float to house as sitter and to Bronson Methodist Kalamazoo (27 miles); no call required 8. RTO: No RTO first two weeks of contract; holiday coverage required with flexible RTO during holidays 9. Returning Staff: 6 months policy applies 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same rate with no radius restrictions; travelers are first to float 11. Background: Must note any background hits on profile and submission prior to submission 12. Modules: 8 hours non-billable, completed during orientation and annually, self-reported 13. Travel Experience: Not specified as required 14. Scrubs: Provided by facility 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required with medical exemptions only; must include proof with submission or exemption within 48 hours of signing 16. Special Equipment: ALGO 5 hearing screen machine for newborn hearing screens Critical: Must be available for lab work within 48-72 hours of signing. Will work all areas of LDRP unit. Patient ratios follow AWHONN guidelines. Required skills include circulate and FHM Triage; scrub preferred.
