- Unit Notes:OSF ITEMS OF NOTE: - Local Rate: Applies to clinicians with permanent addresses within 50 miles (-$25 to regular and OT bill rates) - OSF Call Off Policy: Equivalent of 12 hours every 13 weeks with no penalty or need to pay for the shift - Non-billable Orientation Hours: 12 hours, guaranteed hours will not apply during orientation REQUIREMENTS FOR SUBMISSION: - Last four (4) digits of clinician's SSN - Clinician's middle initial - Requested time off - Active IL license or confirmation that application process has been initiated - Your candidate understands OSF is a Drug-Free Campus and they must produce a negative drug screen for all panels Department: Radiology | MRI Tech - General Certification Requirements: BLS - Certs/ARRT & other specialty certification requirements: RTR MR - Will they have to float/cover any other areas?: Outpatients, In-patients, and ED patients. - Experience or 'Must have' skills: Knowledge of operating GE MRI scanners 1.5T (450W) and 3T (750W). MRI safety guidelines, starting IV's, and the standard acquisition sequences for MRI scanning. - EMR &/or PACS they use: Epic - Department Specific Equipment: GE - Do they use RRA's (Registered Radiology Assistants)?: Yes, MRI Tech assistant - 1 per 8 hour shift. - Do they have to start IV's?: Yes - Shifts & Scheduling: 8 hours - start times 1st shift 6am - 2:30pm, second shift 2pm - 10:30pm, or 3rd shift 10pm -0630am. - Weekend Requirements: 1 weekend a month. - Holiday Requirements: Possible - Call or Standby requirement?: No - Scrub Color/Dress Code: Are scrubs provided?: We do not provide scrubs. Standard solid colored scrubs. Tattoos have to be covered. - Department specific orientation: 1 week depends on familiarity with scanner type (GE).
