- Unit Notes:OSF ITEMS OF NOTE: - Local Rate: Applies to clinicians with permanent addresses within 50 miles (-$25 to regular and OT bill rates) - OSF Call Off Policy: Equivalent of 12 hours every 13 weeks with no penalty or need to pay for the shift - Non-billable Orientation Hours: 12 hours, guaranteed hours will not apply during orientation REQUIREMENTS FOR SUBMISSION: - Last four (4) digits of clinician's SSN - Clinician's middle initial - Requested time off - Active IL license or confirmation that application process has been initiated - Your candidate understands OSF is a Drug-Free Campus and they must produce a negative drug screen for all panels Department: Radiology | CT Tech - General Certification Requirements: BLS - Certs/ARRT & other specialty certification requirements: ARRT, IEMA - How many scanners/rooms does this department have?: 640 bed facility, The CT department has 5 CT scanners. - Will they have to float/cover any other areas?: No - Experience or 'Must have' skills: Perform basic CT scanning. Level 1 trauma experience, previous travel experience. Need to be experienced and able to function in a fast paced environment with high acuity and high volumes of patients. - EMR &/or PACS do they use: Epic - Department Specific Equipment (GE, Phillips, Siemens): The CT scanners are all GE brand. Do you have experience on GE CT scanners? - Do they have to start IV's?: Traveler is expected to be able to start IV's. - Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?): This will vary with the position posted. Start time for 3 12 hour nights is 7pm, 3 12 hour days start is 7am, 4 10 hour days start is 8 am. - Weekend Requirements: Every 3rd weekend. Weekends for nights is Fri/Sat. Weekends for days is Sat/Sun. We do not require call and no holidays but would be open to it if the candidate was willing. - Holiday Requirements: No - Call or Standby requirement?: No - Scrub Color/Dress Code: Are scrubs provided?: Solid colors are fine with some prints. - Department specific orientation: As needed typically 1 week.
