- 1+ years of experience
- Unit Notes:Minimum 2 years of experience - must be recent, within the past 6 months. Prefer Siemens CT Experience /Trauma Experience and Level One experience. **MUST have ARRT and CT** Radiation Badge is required Department: Radiology - CT (Computed Tomography) General Certification Requirements (BLS, etc.) BLS Certs/ARRT & other specialty certification requirements MRTBE CT/ ARRT How many scanners/rooms does this department have? 2 techs/ Scanner Will they have to float/cover any other areas? N/A Common types of imaging/studies performed & Job Duties Stroke/ Trauma/ ER/ IP Experience or 'Must have' skills Prefer Siemens CT Experience and Trauma Experience Average # of scans/studies per day: Approx. 300 EMR &/or PACS (Picture Archive & Communication System: software & hardware) do they use Cerner Department Specific Equipment (GE, Phillips, Siemens) Siemens Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech Mike Taylor (Supervisor) Do they use RRA's (Registered Radiology Assistants)? no Radiologist in-house? in house on days, then we use tele radiology Do they have to start IV's? (if applicable to the department) no Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?) 1 (Thursday thru Sunday 1930-0700)/ 1 (Monday thru Wednesday 1200-0030) Weekend Requirements 1 CT Temp (Thursday thru Sunday) 1930 to 0700 Holiday Requirements Yes Call or Standby requirement? Response time? call every 4th Friday and every 5th Saturday. They have a 1 hour response time Scrub Color/Dress Code: Are scrubs provided? Teal Department specific orientation CT orientation packet will be done in person Cancellation Policy:Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment, 3 shifts for assignments that are less than 13 weeks Charting System:Cerner BSN Required:False License to Submit:Yes Trauma Level: Care Setting:Acute Division:Allied Shift Notes:2000 - 0630 Monday thru Thursday, call every 5th week on Friday and Saturday. 1830 - 0700 Friday thru Sunday, call every 5th week on Wednesday and Thursday Required Certifications:ARRT, BLS Certification
