Qualifications:

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 1 year required (18 months unit specific if not otherwise noted) 2. Cases: Trauma/burn ICU with medical and cardiac overflow patients 3. Certifications: BLS and ACLS required; NIHSS, TNCC, and TNS preferred; AHA and Red Cross only, RQI cards not accepted 4. License: Must have active IL license in hand at submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 nights (1845-715), on-call required, every other weekend, floating required 8. RTO: Maximum 5 days auto-approved for non-holiday RTO; anything more requires facility approval; must work 2 out of 3 major holidays 9. Returning Staff: Previous permanent/PRN candidates must be separated for 12 months before applying as traveler 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted for all units except OR RN (must be 50+ miles for OR RN specialty) 11. Background: Background check hits must be noted upon submission for approval prior to offer 12. Modules: Non-billable up to 16 hours, completed pre-start, renewed annually; strict deadlines with 4PM CST Day 1 completion required 13. Travel Experience: Not specified as required 14. Scrubs: Any solid color 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required with medical/religious exemptions only 16. Special Equipment: Drager bedside monitors Critical: Patient ratio 2:1 all shifts. Must provide 2-3 interview times upon submission. Compliance (lab appointment, DocuSign, badge photo) must be completed within minimum 1 week of signing contract. First day is virtual at-home day for additional modules.
