Requirements
- Required certification: RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist
- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 3 years required; will consider first time travelers with 3 years experience 2. Cases: Critical Care, Emergency Department, ICU, Med/Surg; experience with Pediatrics, Adolescents and Geriatrics preferred 3. Certifications: NRP, ACLS, BLS, PALS required; Ventilator management (Draeger and Hamilton) 4. License: Oregon state RRT license required; can submit with pending license 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required 7. Shifts/Call: No on-call required; weekends required approximately every other weekend; no 48-hour shifts; 1:1 ratios 8. RTO: 6 days total or 3 consecutive days auto-approved; must commit to working 3 of 5 holidays; must request all RTO upfront during submittal 9. Returning Staff: 3 months between permanent and travel; must disclose previous Providence facility employment 10. Travel/Local: 50-mile radius rule; locals accepted at lower rate 11. Background: Any background hits must be sent for approval prior to submission 12. Modules: Average 16 hours, non-billable; completed pre-start and annually; over 20 hours requires approval 13. Travel Experience: Not required 14. Scrubs: Any color for general areas; OR scrubs provided 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown 16. Special Equipment: Puritan Bennett, Draeger, LTV, Respironics ventilators required Critical: Solo RT covers entire hospital (OB, ED, M/S, ICU). Must have vehicle. Two references covering 1 year within last 3 years required. May float between sister facilities.
