- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required, 2 years in neuro setting 2. Cases: Ischemic strokes (post-thrombectomy, post-tPA), neuromuscular disorders, seizure disorders, CNS infections, hemorrhagic strokes, subdural/epidural hematomas, ICP monitoring (EVDs/bolts), neurotrauma (GSW,MVC, spinal cord injuries) 3. Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH required; TNCC, BSN, 10 hours stroke education preferred; must pass Relias EKG exam 4. License: MO or compact license (submit without license OK for MO); IL license in hand required at submittal; compact must match permanent residence 5. Education: BSN preferred 6. EMR: Epic preferred/required 7. Shifts/Call: 36 or 48 hours per week; every other weekend required; no on-call; float within service line or other ICUs 8. RTO: Maximum 7 days per 13-week contract; no RTO first week of assignment; no new RTO after submission 9. Returning Staff: 18 months with 3-month break in service required; permanent employees must wait 1 year 10. Travel/Local: No local candidates within 75-mile radius 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Required for RNs, billable up to 16 hours at $20/hr; completed pre-start through WorkRamp; must start within 1 week of contract and complete 2 Fridays prior to start date 13. Travel Experience: Not specified as required 14. Scrubs: Navy Blue 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only 16. Special Equipment: EVD, bolt Critical: Must complete 10 hours stroke education during orientation. Labs must be completed within 48-72 hours of signing.
