Requirements

- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required for submission 2. Cases: Trauma/Surgical ICU: Neuro, Ortho, GI/GU, Trauma, GYN patients 3. Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH, NIHSS, TNCC; BSN required; must obtain ACLS by compliance deadline 4. License: Valid state license required at submission; MO license or compact license required; Illinois license required at submission 5. Education: BSN required 6. EMR: EPIC experience required for certain units 7. Shifts/Call: Rotating shift (3 weeks days, 3 weeks nights); every other weekend required; no on-call 8. RTO: No more than 7 days per 13-week contract; no RTO first week 9. Returning Staff: Former employees must wait 1 year before returning as traveler 10. Travel/Local: 75-mile radius rule; no local candidates accepted within 75 miles 11. Background: No medical marijuana cards accepted 12. Modules: Billable up to 16 hours at $20/hr; completed pre-start through WorkRamp; must complete 2 Fridays prior to start date 13. Travel Experience: Not specified as required 14. Scrubs: Navy Blue 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required (medical/religious exemptions only) 16. Special Equipment: Belmont rapid infuser preferred Critical: Must pass Relias EKG exam. Patient ratios 1:2. Will float within service line. Labs must be completed within 48-72 hours of signing. Two supervisory references within last two years required for Barnes-Jewish West County.
