Requirements

- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1-2 years required for submission 2. Cases: MICU cases including sepsis, ARDS, renal failure, heart failure, pre-vad workups, alcohol withdrawal, overdose, multi-organ failure, post cardiac arrest/targeted temperature management, respiratory failure/shock 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required 4. License: NY license required in hand to submit 5. Education: Must alert account manager if traveler has foreign education requiring verification 6. EMR: EPIC experience is a hard requirement 7. Shifts/Call: 4x12 Nights 1900-0730, every other weekend required, candidates will float 8. RTO: Cannot submit anyone with more than 10 days RTO, only one pre-approved time off 9. Returning Staff: 1 year return staff policy 10. Travel/Local: Must be over 75 mile radius, candidates within 75 miles not accepted 11. Background: Reviewed on case-by-case basis 12. Modules: Pre-start modules, up to 5 hours billable, total may reach 10 hours with excess non-billable, recorded via facility report 13. Travel Experience: First time travelers accepted 14. Scrubs: Not mentioned 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown 16. Special Equipment: CRRT, IABP, Impella, ECMO Critical: Patient ratio 1:2 with occasional 1:1 based on acuity. 36 orientation hours. Multiple submittals allowed.
