Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; ICU experience required; Large Level 1/2 Facility experience required 2. Cases: ICU and PCU cases; must be comfortable working ALL ICU and PCU units 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required; CPI preferred 4. License: Active Virginia State or Compact RN license required; pending license accepted only if candidate holds single-state license from non-compact state 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: EPIC experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12s, 645p-715a; may float 2-3 times per shift (up to every 4 hours); EOW or 6 weekend shifts in 6-week block 8. RTO: ALL requests must be included with submission; maximum two pre-approved time off requests 9. Returning Staff: Previous employees must be gone minimum one year; after working 365 days on assignment, cannot return despite separation period (effective July 1, 2025) 10. Travel/Local: Locals within 100 miles not accepted; 50-99.9 miles may be considered for one assignment with no extension; under 50 miles may be considered at lower bill rate with no extension 11.
