Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years ICU experience required; cardiac experience required 2. Cases: Cardiac Critical Care Unit cases; patient diagnoses include STEMI, NSTEMI, Post-arrest, Sepsis, CHF, A-Fib 3. Certifications: ACLS required, BCLS required 4. License: Pending License is okay 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: EPIC EMR; EPIC experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 1:2 patient ratio; 6-9 weekend shifts per contract required 8. RTO: Facility unable to accommodate holiday RTO; RTO must be included in submission; one pre-approved time off 9. Returning Staff: FirstHealth will not consider FHC employees for contract positions unless they have been gone from employment for at least 1 year 10. Travel/Local: Travelers who reside in Moore County are not eligible for Travel; first time travelers accepted 11. Background: Facility performs their own pre-employment drug screen on all candidates upon arrival to assignment 12. Modules: ICU - 18.47 hours average; non-billable; completed pre-start prior to orientation; self-reported 13. Travel Experience: First time travelers accepted 14. Scrubs: Not specified 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown 16. Special Equipment: IABP, Impella Critical: Must not reside in Moore County. External contract staff absent on weekend shifts required to make up the shift. 12-hour orientation provided.
