Requirements

- Active California RN license required before start
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; minimum 1 year required for submission; first-timers not accepted 2. Cases: Cardiovascular, Multi-trauma, Gun Shots, Stroke and Stemi Center, Motor Vehicle Accidents, Ortho; Level 2 Trauma, Thrombectomy-Capable Stroke Center with high acuity neuro population, STEMI receiving, CABG/Valve/IABP, CRRT, Sepsis, Surgical 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH, LA Fire Card (within last 30 days required) 4. License: CA license must be in hand; pending license not accepted 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: No on-call required; weekend coverage required; float required to ICU overflow, PCU/Tele 8. RTO: Must be noted at time of submittal; 7 days offer window; must commit to working 3 of 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Xmas Eve, Xmas Day, NYE, NYD) 9. Returning Staff: Can return after 3 months; must include previous Providence facility work history 10. Travel/Local: Under 50 miles considered local; locals accepted at lower rate 11. Background: Must disclose license/background hits upfront at submission; no open license hits approved 12. Modules: Non-billable, average 16 hours; completed pre-start and annually; over 20 hours requires approval 13. Travel Experience: Required 14. Scrubs: Any color; L/D & OR provided 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown 16. Special Equipment: Alaris pumps, Roche meters, Bedside monitoring Phillips, Vents, Suction, Drains, Chest Tubes Critical: Strong Neuro experience required. 2 references covering 1 year within last 3 years required. All travelers expected to float between facilities within state.
