- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required 2. Cases: Critical Care Float Pool for various ICUs including Neuro ICU, Surgical ICUs, Medical ICUs, Cardiology/Diagnostics, CVICU, SICU/MICU/NCCU 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required 4. License: Valid compact or state license required in hand at time of submission 5. Education: Must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program 6. EMR: Proficiency with EPIC required 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12s Nights, minimum every other weekend coverage, patient ratios 2:1 all shifts 8. RTO: Required with submission, must be built into contract 9. Returning Staff: Former employees eligible for travel assignment once away from facility for 6 months or more; current employees ineligible 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same rate; previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred 11. Background: Strict compliance deadline of Tuesday prior to start; urgent fingerprinting process required 12. Modules: Not specified 13. Travel Experience: Yes, strongly preferred 14. Scrubs: Not mentioned 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - Medical Exemptions Only 16. Special Equipment: NIHSS (hardstop), temp pacer, EVD, CT, Vent; must have IV Start, Telemetry, Ventilator management experience Critical: Float required to different units within organization as needed. Two professional references required with at least one from manager/director. Urgent Ohio fingerprinting process must be completed immediately after contract signing.
