- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years minimum; 1st timers are accepted 2. Cases: All potential ICU diagnoses; Adults to Geriatrics patient population 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required 4. License: GA or Compact license must be in hand at time of submittal 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required; also uses Pyxis, SBAR 7. Shifts/Call: 1:2-3 ratio; every other weekend; no call requirements; floating required within facility/scope of practice including sister campus 8. RTO: MAX 7 days; specific holiday policy - if 1-2 major holidays during assignment must work all, if 3 major holidays must work 2 9. Returning Staff: Must be away 1 FULL YEAR from all Piedmont facilities; if previous cancel/DNR must complete one assignment outside Piedmont first 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same rate 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Non-billable, completed during orientation, vary by specialty, recorded via transcripts, hours factored in NBO 13. Special Equipment: Camino and Codman ICP monitors, BIS monitors, Train of Four monitors, Hemosphere Flotrak, Baxter PrisMax CRRT machine, Glucommander, Alaris IV pumps, Medline bladder scanners, Artic Sun Critical: Must be available to submit core items and complete/schedule labs within 48 hours of signing contract. Two supervisory references required (Manager or above). Must have experience with ventilators, A-lines, titration of continuous infusions, sedation agents, pain meds, paralytic agents, and vasopressors. CRRT patients require competency on Baxter PrisMax machine.
