Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required 2. Cases: Surgical and trauma adult critical care patients; trauma level I and II experience preferred 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS required; TNCC also listed; copy of certifications required with submissions 4. License: VA license accepted pending; must have license in-hand Wednesday before start date 5. Education: BSN preferred 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 36 or 48 hours available; nights; every other weekend, every other holiday; block scheduling cannot be accommodated 8. RTO: Up to 40 hours guaranteed per 13-week contract; unable to approve Memorial Day weekend; no additional RTO requests approved after acceptance 9. Returning Staff: Must inform Client Delivery Manager if previously employed at UVA Health system; external travelers cannot work more than 365 days regardless of separation; facility does not allow return after 365 days assignment 10. Travel/Local: This unit does not have mile radius rule (50-mile restriction applies only to select units not including this one) 11. Background: Must inform Client Delivery Manager if aware of background hits 12. Modules: Non-billable up to 16 hours; completed during orientation; vary by specialty; recorded in Workday 13. Travel Experience: Not specified as required 14. Scrubs: Not mentioned 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required with no exemptions 16.
