Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; Strong ICU experience required (hard stop) 2. Cases: PACU experience providing peri-anesthesia care across all age groups; nurses must be competent in titration of vasopressors, airway management, care of ventilated patients, blood product administration and fluid resuscitation 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS required; CPI Certificate required; BLS/ACLS/PALS must be AHA ONLY; NRP or AAP accepted 4. License: RN MD STATE LICENSE or Compact License required at time of submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: Rotating 12-hour shifts; 1-2 twelve hour call shifts every 6 weeks required; weekend and holiday coverage required 8. RTO: Maximum 7 days can be requested; if more than 4 consecutive days, additional week must be added to back end on new contracts; one major holiday off allowed during winter season 9. Returning Staff: Former staff must be gone for 12 months before returning as traveler; return travelers must be away at least 6 months from system 10. Travel/Local: Unless specifically stated, locals under 50 miles not accepted (permanent address must be 50+ miles from hospital) 11. Background: Not specified 12.
