Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required 2. Cases: Home health cases including wound care, CHF, diabetes, HTN, cancer, infection, joint replacement 3. Certifications: BLS required; MD license required 4. License: MD license required or compact license accepted 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: OASIS E and HCHB Point care EMR experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 5x8 day shifts 0800-1700; no weekend or call requirements 8. RTO: No RTO permitted during first two weeks; maximum 7 days per 13-week contract; must be included at time of submittal 9. Returning Staff: Previous MedStar employees must be separated minimum one year before returning as traveler 10. Travel/Local: 60-mile radius; locals accepted at lower rate 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Sitel modules must be completed within one week of signing contract; average 12 hours duration; billable up to 4 hours 13. Travel Experience: First-time travelers accepted if they have OASIS E and Homecare Homebase/Pointcare EMR experience 14. Scrubs: Not specified 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required with no exemptions 16. Special Equipment: Personal vehicle required with valid license and insurance Critical: Labs and DS appointment must be completed within 48 hours of signing.
