Job Description
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel – Histotechnologist II
Shift: Nights / 7p-3a, 8×5, 40 hrs per week
Length: 13 weeks
Requirements:
- 1 Years’ Experience
- Associates degree in Histology or Natural Sciences
- BLS
- MLT, MT, HTL or HT Certified by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists Preferred
Other Details:
- Knowledge of the process of all aspects of the histology lab, including tissue processing, microtomy, special staining procedures and immunohistochemistry used for tissue differentiation and diagnosis
- Ability to work with precision and care to ensure accuracy and efficiency under periods of pressure and stress
- Ability to establish rigid controls to ensure all specimens are properly identified as to source and type
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- 1 or more years of related work experience null preferred
