Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel - Histotechnologist II

Shift: Nights / 7p-3a, 8x5, 40 hrs per week

Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

1 Years’ Experience
Associates degree in Histology or Natural Sciences
BLS
MLT, MT, HTL or HT Certified by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists Preferred

Other Details:

Knowledge of the process of all aspects of the histology lab, including tissue processing, microtomy, special staining procedures and immunohistochemistry used for tissue differentiation and diagnosis
Ability to work with precision and care to ensure accuracy and efficiency under periods of pressure and stress
Ability to establish rigid controls to ensure all specimens are properly identified as to source and type
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
1 or more years of related work experience null preferred
