Requirements

- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year minimum; prefer oncology clinic experience; will consider acute Oncology/Hematology experience 2. Cases: Adult hematology patient population - both malignant and benign hematology only 3. Certifications: BCLS required; ONS, BMTCN, OCN preferred 4. License: NC or Compact license required in hand at time of start 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 5x8 hours Monday-Friday 8a-4:30p; no call, float, or weekend requirements 8. RTO: Auto-approve 7 days or less if not on holiday; more requires facility approval; must work 2 out of 3 major holidays; no RTO first week due to orientation; RTO after booking NOT allowed 9. Returning Staff: Previous Novant Health or New Hanover employees must wait 12 months; must disclose previous employment 10. Travel/Local: Under 50 miles offered lower local rate; accepts first-time travelers 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Non-acute roles 4-5 hours; completed pre-start via online learning, Zoom, webinar, in-person classes 13. Travel Experience: Accepts first-time travelers 14. Scrubs: Navy Blue; not provided by hospital 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - medical/religious exemptions only 16.
