- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required for submission 2. Cases: General Emergency Department-Combined Adult/Pedi experience required; various specific case types including cardiac monitoring, IV therapy, neurological cases, orthopedic, pediatric, psychiatric, and respiratory cases 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC required; AHA and Red Cross only - RQI cards not accepted 4. License: Must have active IL license in hand at submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 or 4x12 shifts (15:00-03:30); work every other weekend; no on-call required 8. RTO: Auto-approve 5 or less days of non-holiday RTO; must work 2 out of 3 major holidays 9. Returning Staff: Previous perm/PRN candidates must be separated for 12 months before applying as traveler 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted with no radius requirement for ED positions (except OR RN which requires 50+ miles) 11. Background: Background check hits must be noted upon submission for approval prior to offer 12. Modules: Non-billable up to 16 hours; completed pre-start; first day is virtual at-home with strict 4PM CST Day 1 deadline 13. Travel Experience: Not specified as required 14.
