Requirements

- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required for submission 2. Cases: Emergency Department with both pediatrics and adults; must be comfortable caring for both populations 3. Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH, and PALS required; ACLS required by compliance deadline 4. License: Valid state license required at time of submission; Missouri requires MO license or compact license; Illinois requires license in hand at submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: EPIC charting system used throughout BJC system 7. Shifts/Call: Every 3rd weekend required; no on-call; 36 guaranteed hours for 3-12s; patient ratios 1:4 all shifts 8. RTO: Maximum 7 days per 13-week contract; no RTO first week; must be on submittal and cannot be changed 9. Returning Staff: Permanent employees must wait 1 year before returning as traveler; standard travelers can stay 18 months then must take 3-month break 10. Travel/Local: 75-mile radius rule; no local candidates accepted within 75 miles 11. Background: No medical marijuana cards accepted 12. Modules: Billable up to 16 hours at $20/hr; completed pre-start through WorkRamp; must start within 1 week of contract and complete 2 Fridays prior to start date 13. Travel Experience: First-timers accepted 14. Scrubs: Navy color required 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required with medical/religious exemptions only 16. Special Equipment: Glucostabilizer and Level 1 infuser Critical: Labs must be completed within 48-72 hours of signing. References preferred at submittal. Travelers must float within service line. Pediatric experience preferred.
