- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2+ years of ER experience required 2. Cases: Level I Trauma Center, stroke-certified, and STEMI-certified facility experience preferred 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI required 4. License: Ohio RN license required; valid compact or state license in hand at time of submission 5. Education: Must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program 6. EMR: EPIC documentation 7. Shifts/Call: Days: 7:00 PM 7:30 AM; every other or every third weekend; float required 8. RTO: RTO required with submission, must be built into contract 9. Returning Staff: Former employees eligible once they have been away from facility for 6 months or more; current employees ineligible 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at the same rate 11. Background: Strict compliance deadline of Tuesday prior to start; urgent Ohio fingerprinting process required 12. Modules: Not specified 13. Travel Experience: First-time travelers accepted 14. Scrubs: Navy scrubs 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - Medical Exemptions Only 16. Special Equipment: Pyxis, arterial line management, central line care/management Critical: Patient ratios 1:3.5, 36 hours orientation, 2 professional references required with at least 1 from manager/director. Must complete fingerprints as soon as contract is signed.
