- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required 2. Cases: Mostly acute on chronic conditions, MI, STEMI, CHF, COPD, Cancer, Dialysis, Wounds, Vented patients, Behavioral Health Crisis, usual ED-related visits 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS required; CPI, TNCC, TRUST, CPIM also listed 4. License: NY license required in hand to submit 5. Education: Alert account manager if traveler has foreign education requiring verification 6. EMR: Epic experience is a hard requirement 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 Nights, every other weekend, candidates will float 8. RTO: Cannot submit anyone with more than 10 days RTO 9. Returning Staff: 1 year return staff policy 10. Travel/Local: Candidates within 75 miles not accepted 11. Background: Reviewed on case-by-case basis 12. Modules: Billable up to 5 hours, total may reach 10 hours; excess over 5 hours non-billable; completed pre-start, recorded via facility report 13. Travel Experience: First time travelers accepted 14. Scrubs: Not mentioned 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown 16. Special Equipment: Translator iPad, Glidescope, Lucas, U/S guided IV, Bladder Scanner, Bair Hugger, Blood warmer Critical: Patient ratios 5:1 all shifts. 11-bed medical ED with separate CPEP unit. Multiple job submissions allowed.
