- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 or more years of experience required 2. Cases: ED cases including abdominal pain, acute psychosis, arterial line management, asthma, burns, CVA, drug overdose, gunshot wounds, head injury, trauma cases, and numerous other emergency department conditions 3. Certifications: MD State license, ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS, TNCC; BLS/ACLS/PALS must be AHA only; NRP or AAP only; CPI certification required with Calm Every Storm online version as only acceptable online vendor 4. License: Active MD or Compact License required at time of submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 3, 12-hour shifts 19:00-07:30; weekend and holiday coverage required; every other weekend required; floating required within specialty and other units; on-call not required 8. RTO: Must be included at initial submission, cannot be changed once offered; should not exceed 7 days; if more than 4 consecutive days, additional week added to contract; one major holiday off allowed during winter season 9. Returning Staff: Former staff must be gone 12 months before returning as traveler; return travelers must be away at least 6 months from system 10.
