Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required 2. Cases: General medical/surgical patients including respiratory disease, metabolic, urologic, neurologic, orthopedic, cancer and metastatic disease, renal disorders, cardiovascular, surgery, stroke, post op surgical patients - ortho, ENT, general surgery 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS and PALS required 4. License: PA/compact license in hand required 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner preferred 7. Shifts/Call: Weekend coverage required; 5 weekend shifts per 10 week schedule; floating required 8. RTO: Not specified 9. Returning Staff: Perm or Per Diem employees must be away for 18 months before returning as travelers; any previously permanent employment at Penn Highlands Healthcare must be included in employment history at submission 10. Travel/Local: First time traveler OK 11. Background: PA Fingerprints must be completed in PA; candidate must complete fingerprint registration and Childline as soon as they sign contract 12.
