- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year cardiac or critical care experience required; cardiac cath and/or IR experience preferred 2. Cases: 12-18 cases per day; high volume, high acuity procedures including TAVRS, watchman, cardiomems, carotids, impella, CTO, peripherals, TEVARS/EVARS, STEMI 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, BSN required; copies of all required certs must be submitted 4. License: VA or Compact license required with submission; current Nursys report required 5. Education: BSN required 6. EMR: Epic experience preferred; XPER documentation used 7. Shifts/Call: 4 ten-hour shifts (0700-1730 and/or 0800-1830) with on-call requirements including weekends and holidays; 1 weekend and 5-6 weekdays per 4-week period 8. RTO: At manager's discretion; will need to add week at end of assignment if requesting more than 7 days RTO; only 1 holiday request for OR/CST units 9. Returning Staff: Must be gone 1 year before returning as traveler 10. Travel/Local: No radius rule; locals accepted at same rate; candidates will float within hospital or to affiliate hospitals 11. Background: Nursys only 12. Modules: 8 hours average, completed pre-start via WorkRamp; non-billable 13. Travel Experience: First-time travelers accepted 14. Scrubs: Provided by facility 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required with no exemptions 16. Special Equipment: Philips rooms, Medrad and manifold for injections; 3 newly renovated labs Critical: Must include middle initial at submission. Patient ratio 1:6. Will float to medical assignments and ED for medical holds.
