November at Emerald
One of our favorite things to do is host events for nurses! It’s part of our #OnlyAtEmerald experience.
As a healthcare staffing agency, we have seen first-hand how important it is for our travel nurses to connect with each other and find a strong support system, no matter where their assignments take them.
We host a number of nursing events throughout the nation with the goal of building community between nurses. This also gives our recruiters an opportunity to meet with their travel nurses face-to-face and speak with potential travel nurses in person.
While our 2018 event calendar is slowing down, we still have a lot of fun in store for you!

I am Resilient: Houston (Nov 3)
Nurse Mo is bringing her inspirational “I am Resilient” workshop to Houston, TX!
Nurses of all backgrounds and specialties are invited to join her and a dynamic panel of nurses for an afternoon of networking, empowerment and fun.

Thanksgiving Feast (Nov 13)
An Emerald tradition, our annual Thanksgiving feast brings together all our LA travel nurses for an evening of food, drinks and merriment all around. Our corporate office is transformed into a festive place to bond with fellow nurses, meet recruiters in-person and get the holidays started together. Make sure to RSVP! More info available here.
Duke It Up: Portland (Nov 16)
We’re hitting Oregon for the first time ever with an event in partnership with Katie Duke!
Nurses in the Pacific Northwest are invited to join us for an evening of food, drinks, networking and mentoring. Nursegrid founder & CEO Joe Novello and Director of Marketing Zach Smith will also be on-hand to share their expertise in the fields of both nursing and entrepreneurship.
The event is completely free — all nurses are welcome to attend! Just make sure to RSVP here (the event WILL sell out!)
If you don’t see any events listed in your area, don’t worry! In 2018 alone we covered Washington, Florida, New York, Las Vegas and Chicago, just to name a few.
