Travel Nurse (RN) – Tele/Stepdown (Telemetry/PCU) – Morgantown, West Virginia – 926473

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – Stepdown – 7E Trauma General Surg Inpatient

Shift: Nights / 7p-7:30a, 12×3, 36 hrs/week

Length: 13 weeks

Friday, Saturday, Sunday / Saturday, Sunday, Monday

Holiday Requirement Yes – will work into the perm staff holiday schedule as needed

Requirements:

• WV license
• 2 Years Experience
• Must have experience with complex wound care, drains, devices, traumatic injuries, Chest tubes, respiratory support, TBI’s, complex spinal cord injuries, as well as other medical & surgical conditions
• BLS

Other Details:

• Charting System: EPIC
• Common diagnoses/Types of patients Multi-trauma, TBI, Fractures, General Surgery (choles, ostomies, etc.); Bariatric Surgery – Other typical Med-Surg as needed
• # of beds 30-33 Total Beds (12-15 Floor, 18 Stepdown)
• Ratios 1:6 for Floor patients, 1:3 for Stepdown patients
• Covid vaccine. If a traveler wants to decline based on a Medical or Religious reason, please have them fill out the appropriate Exemption Form
• Must be outside 50 miles from the facility
• Floating to like units is required (floor/stepdown)
