Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – IMC/PCU – 5S Trauma 48’s
Shift: Nights / 7p-7a, 12×4, 48 hours per week, will accept 36’s, EOW,
Length: 13 weeks
Requirements:
- WV/Compact License
- 2 Years of RN Experience
- 1 Year in-specialty Experience
- BLS
- ACLS
- CPI
- TNCC preferred
Other Details:
- Can be floated within scope to meet facilities needs
- Skill Requirements: IV Start, Vents, Telemetry, Level 1 Trauma Experience, Conscious Sedation
- 100mi. Radius Rule (75-99mi. can be sent for facility approval)
5S Trauma Stepdown (IMC/PCU) RN
3×12 or 4×12 Nights 7p-7a, weekdays, EOW, float
**Please limit holiday RTO requests to no more than 1 of the 3 major holidays**
25 Floor Beds, 6 Step-Down Beds, 6 Peds Beds. Multidisciplinary team approach in providing nursing care to multi-system-injured trauma patients and surgical patients. A six-bed intermediate care stepdown unit provides an intermediate level of care. Ideal candidates could have a background of PCU, IMC, Trauma, SDU. Travelers would not be required to see the Peds patients. It is possible that the unit could use a traveler for floor beds only – this will be discussed at interview.
Ratios: Floor RN: 1:5 / SDU: 1:3
Orientation/Start Dates held every other week on Thursday
2 Years of RN Experience Required; 1 Year in-specialty Experience required
1st Time Travelers Accepted if experienced in ICU / Trauma
36 or 48hr contract options
Every other weekend required
BLS, ACLS, Fit Test, CPI (Travelers can get CPI done with Qualivis), TNCC preferred
