- Active California RN license required before start
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years hospital experience required; first time travelers accepted with 5+ years experience 2. Cases: Surgical, chronic, or trauma wounds 3. Certifications: BLS required, ACLS preferred, Wound Care Certification OR WOCN required (must have) 4. License: CA license required and must be in hand 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience highly preferred 7. Shifts/Call: Block schedule M-W with flexibility M-SAT considered, no Sundays; no call required 8. RTO: Must be included at time of submission; 7 days maximum for offers; must commit to working 3 of 5 holidays 9. Returning Staff: Can return after 3 months; must include Providence facility work history with submission 10. Travel/Local: 50-mile radius rule; locals accepted at lower rate 11. Background: Must disclose license/background hits upfront at submission; no open license hits approved 12. Modules: Average 16 hours, non-billable; completed pre-start and annually; over 20 hours requires PM approval 13. Travel Experience: Must have wound care specific experience and wound vac experience 14. Scrubs: RNs wear navy blue; L&D/OR provided by facility 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown 16. Special Equipment: Must have experience with wound vac therapy and various wound care equipment Critical: LA fire card within last 30 days required. Two references covering 1 year within last 3 years required. All travelers expected to float between facilities within state.
