Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel – LICSW (Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker)

Shift: Nights or Variable Days/  12×3, 36 hrs per week

Length: 13 Weeks

Weekend REQ: Potential

Requirements:

  • WA State Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker OR LCSW
  • 1 year experience
  • Acute Care setting experience
  • Care coordination experience – Documents information to facilitate care, participates in care conference activities, refers to other disciplines/resources
  • Assessment Experience – Assess response to treatment, biopsychosocial assessment, conduct initial evaluation, develop plan of care, development of problem list
  • BLS
  • General Skills – Child Protective Services
  • Counselling/Therapy and Education – Provide Crisis Intervention, educate patient/caregiver to facilitate discharge
  • First-timers accepted
  • Floating may be needed, within scope

Special Requirements:

-The Social Work Department at Seattle Children consist of 90 masters level social workers assigned to inpatient, ambulatory, and emergency department environments. Areas of practice include: adjustment to illness, acute behavioral health assessments, end of life care, child maltreatment, resource identification and acquisition, care coordination / care management, and collaboration with community partners. Seattle Children’s is a tertiary healthcare facility, as such, staff can find themselves working with the following diagnosis and many others: hem-onc, GI, craniofacial, cystic fibrosis, pulmonary, acute rehabilitation, transplant (liver, heart, renal, small bowel);diabetes, adolescent medicine, etc.
