Requirements
- Required certification: Ultrasound Tech - Sonography
- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 4 years required as an Ultrasound Tech 2. Cases: Must have ability to perform OB ultrasound 3. Certifications: BLS from AHA required; must be registered with ARDMS in both Abdomen and OB/GYN; specialty-relevant certification required at submission 4. License: Active Sonography license with Oregon Board of Medical Imaging required (permanent or temporary); Oregon CNA license must be in hand at submission; Oregon RN license not required at submission (pending okay) 5. Education: Bachelor's degree in Sonography preferred 6. EMR: Epic charting experience is a hard stop requirement 7. Shifts/Call: Variable day/swing shifts (07:00 to 01:00); variable swing/graveyard shifts (12:00-05:30) 8. RTO: Must be finalized at time of submittal; additional requests may result in removal or contract cancellation; facility does not accommodate block scheduling 9. Returning Staff: Former permanent employees may not submit for 6 months after employment termination 10. Travel/Local: Travel experience required; candidates may float to affiliate hospital (West Valley Hospital, 15 minutes away); refusing to float may result in contract cancellation 11. Background: License/background hits require detailed written statement; reviewed case-by-case; travelers with hits ineligible for 90-day temp license waiver 12. Modules: Up to 8 hours non-billable; completed pre-start and annually; vary by specialty; separate from NBO 13. Travel Experience: Yes, required 14. Scrubs: Not specified 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown 16. Special Equipment: Must be capable of operating state of the art ultrasound equipment, computer systems, film processors and other supportive devices Critical: Current profile with finalized RTO and minimum one supervisor reference required.
