- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2+ years of experience required; prior travel experience required 2. Cases: Abdominal, pelvic (gynecological & obstetrical), transvaginal sonograms, small parts (thyroid, breast & scrotum), ultrasound-guided biopsies, drainage, thoracentesis, paracentesis and aspirations 3. Certifications: BLS required; registration with American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) required; registration with American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) required 4. License: State License as general radiographer required; Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) required 5. Education: Two-year allied health degree and successful completion of approved one-year program in Ultrasound Technology; graduate of accredited AMA school 6. EMR: Not specified 7.
