- Unit Notes:General Certification Requirements: BLS Specialty Certifications: ARDMS in Obstetrics, NT Certification. Fetal Echo and CLEAR certification preferred but not required. How many scanners/rooms does this dept have? Currently 3, will look at adding a temporary 4th room Will they have to float/cover any other areas? Looking to start utilizing a mobile unit in September. When this starts, they will potentially work 2 days/week on the mobile unit going to outreach smaller locations up to 2 hours away. On those days, they will work 10 hour days and be the sole tech with the driver. Common types of imaging/studies performed & Job Duties OB extended ultrasound, OB follow up, Umbilical artery dopplers, Middle cerebral artery dopplers, 1st trimester screening, biophysical profiles, fetal echo, Twins, Triplets, Transvaginal, PR interval Experience or 'Must have' skills Maternal Fetal Medicine Average # of studies per day 8 to 10 EMR &/or PACS (Picture Archive & Communication System: software & hardware) do they use Syngo Dynamics, Cerner, Syngo Workflow Department Specific Equipment Phillips Epiq and GE Voluson 18 Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech? Tammy Jeznach Operations Manager Do they use RRA's (Registered Radiology Assistants)? No Radiologist in-house? Yes Do they have to start IV's? (if applicable to the department) No Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?) 0730-1630 Monday - Friday.
