Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 2 years required for Echo Tech; 18 months general requirement with job description exceptions 2. Cases: Must perform adult and pediatric echos; bubble study, imaging with contrast agents, M-mode, pharmacologic stress echo, portable studies, RVIT, RVOT, routine, TEE, treadmill stress echo for adults; M-mode, portable studies, RVIT, RVOT, routine for pediatrics 3. Certifications: ARDMS, BLS, and RDCS required; must be AHA or Red Cross only; RQI cards not accepted 4. License: IL license required in hand at submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner experience required 7. Shifts/Call: Mix of 8 and 10-hour days, 0700-0800 start; call every other or third weekend plus 1 weekday 8. RTO: Auto-approve 5 days non-holiday RTO; facility approval needed for more; must work 2 out of 3 major holidays 9. Returning Staff: PERM or PRN employees must be away 12 months before applying as traveler 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted with no radius restriction 11. Background: Must note background policy prior to submission for approval before offer 12. Modules: Non-billable up to 16 hours, then billable; completed pre-start; sent Friday before start, must complete by 4pm CST first Monday; strict deadlines enforced 13.
