- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required; first-time travelers accepted 2. Cases: Majority brains and spines; also abdominal and extremity imaging; works extensively with anesthesia and ICU patients; does NOT scan enterography, prostate, cardiac, or breast 3. Certifications: BLS, ARRT R, ARRT MR required; copies of certifications required; must be AHA or American Red Cross (implied by BLS requirement) 4. License: Valid state license required; pending license allowed (takes 10-12 weeks); Nursys not mentioned 5. Education: Registered sonographer (general and vascular) required; ARDMS credentials in abdomen, OB/GYN, or vascular technology preferred 6. EMR: Epic experience preferred; specific charting experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 4x10 variable shift; on-call not required per unit details, but rotating weekend call listed in VMS system; weekends may be more frequent than every other week based on staffing needs; Monday-Friday 1:30PM-10PM listed; guaranteed 70 hours per 2 weeks with 1 possible 10-hour call-off per 2-week period 8.
