- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum two years of clinical experience in the respective department required 2. Cases: Complex diagnostic ultrasound procedures; cardiac, vascular, and general ultrasound specializations; invasive techniques including contrast agents, paracentesis, thoracentesis, biopsy, line placement, and thrombin injection exams 3. Certifications: CPR certification upon hire; AHA BLS within 60 days of hire; ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography), RDMS required 4. License: ARDMS, RDMS required; Nevada position (Renown Regional, Reno, NV) 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: General knowledge of hospital and department computer systems required 7. Shifts/Call: 4x10s, Tuesday-Friday, 7pm-5:30am; call requirements to be discussed during interview; may include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts; must pick up one additional shift per schedule period; float to organization needs up to competency level 8.
