- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years recent Ultrasound Tech experience required; knowledge of General with procedures and Vascular training required; Echo experience is a plus 2. Cases: Abdominal, pelvic (gynecological and obstetrical), transvaginal sonograms, small parts (thyroid, breast, scrotum), ultrasound-guided biopsies, drainage, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and aspirations 3. Certifications: ARRT/RDMS certification required; BLS required through American Heart Association; copies must be attached to submission packet 4. License: State License as general radiographer required 5. Education: Graduate of an accredited AMA school required 6. EMR: Must be included in submission template; no specific system stated 7.
