- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Two years of actively doing echocardiograms preferred 2. Cases: Diagnostic echocardiograms on adults and pediatric patients; 2D, M-mode and Doppler cardiac exams 3. Certifications: A.R.D.M.S./CCI registered or registry eligible or comparable national accreditation required; BLS required, issued through American Heart Association 4. License: State of New Mexico Echo Sonographer License required 5. Education: High school diploma or equivalent; two-year allied health education program that is patient care related preferred (diagnostic medical sonographer, radiologic technologist, respiratory therapist, occupational therapist, physical therapist, and/or registered nurse preferred) 6. EMR: Not specified 7. Shifts/Call: Days 7:00AM-5:30PM; 4 days/10 hours; on-call responsibility for echo emergency exams outside regular working hours per department policy 8. RTO: Not specified 9.
