Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 5 years required for submission 2. Cases: Portable exams, inpatient unit studies, Ross outpatient exams; varying degrees of acuity including ICU/ED settings 3. Certifications: BLS required; ACLS preferred; must have ARDMS, RDCS, or CCI-RCS (one or the other, not both) 4. License: Valid compact or state license in hand at time of submission (RNs); MRI techs may submit without OH license; Ohio fingerprinting must be completed as soon as contract is signed 5. Education: Must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program 6. EMR: Epic required 7. Shifts/Call: Either 4x10s (Mon-Fri, 7 AM-5:30 PM) or 5x8s (Mon-Fri, 8 AM-4:30 PM); occasional Saturday rotation 8 AM-1 PM, approximately 2-3 times per 13-week contract 8. RTO: Must be submitted with submission and built into contract; two pre-approved time off slots noted 9. Returning Staff: Former employees eligible after 6 months away from facility; current employees ineligible for traveler assignment at any Ohio State University hospital location 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at the same rate; travel experience required 11. Background: Not specified; Ohio fingerprinting required urgently upon contract signing; candidates outside Ohio within driving distance must drive to an Ohio fingerprinting location; those at extreme distances will be mailed a packet 12.
