Requirements
- Required certification: Speech Language Pathologist
- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 3 years required; must be independent; minimum 1 year required 2. Cases: Inpatient/Outpatient SLP; hybrid position with 1-3 adult outpatients per day, rest acute hospital; must independently perform Modified Barium Swallow Studies 3. Certifications: BLS, CCC-SLP required 4. License: CA license must be in hand; state license required 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic 7. Shifts/Call: Monday-Friday; no call required; no weekend coverage 8. RTO: Must be included at time of submission; 7 days maximum offer time; must commit to working 3 of 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) 9. Returning Staff: Can return after 3 months; must disclose previous Providence facility employment 10. Travel/Local: 50-mile radius rule; locals accepted at lower rate 11. Background: Must disclose license/background hits upfront at submission; no open license hits approved 12. Modules: Non-billable, average 16 hours; completed pre-start and annually; over 20 hours requires approval; self-reported completion 13. Travel Experience: First timers considered 14. Scrubs: RNs wear navy blue; L&D/OR provided 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown 16. Special Equipment: Must perform Modified Barium Swallow Studies Critical: LA fire card within last 30 days required. Two references covering 1 year within last 3 years required. All travelers expected to float between facilities within state. Can only submit to one Providence facility at a time.
